There are alot of ads that say you can receive government grants to pay off bills to go back to school..etc?

There are also alot of companies that say we can assist you getting these funds...my questions are 2

1...Has anyone received government Funding from these programs?...if so.. how?...what methods did you use

2...Has anyone tried any of these programs that can offer assistance to attain this grant money?

Never pay any money to obtain a grant from the government.  They are all SCAMS.  To get a grant from the government go to http://fafsa.ed.gov to apply for the federal Pell grant.  You do not have to pay the pell grant back.  Some folks don't qualify for it, but some do... some qualify for enough to pay tuition books fees and have a little bit of extra for living expenses.  Here is a good book.
