I'm pretty sure they will not harm your turtle but you should try. Check to see on Google what turtle's eat, if caterpillers are any of them, you should. Of not, you can but watch him if you do.

NEVER. EVER. feed a reptile or any sort of reptile a catapiller. alot of catapillers are poisonous. some can chew through their stomache. please dont do it.

I would guess that it would be fine for the turtle to eat. Just research, and find out what it is before you feed it to him. You have to be careful cause some of those fuzzy creatures can be death.
