There are clear-beige balls in soil of my indoor plants? What are they?

  1. You will find this is fertiliser.Companies use this in their soil when potting the plants.


  2. Most likely a continuous feed fertilizer added by the grower, such as osmocote. These fertilizers are formulated with a polymer coating and will fill with water as the chemical is leeched out. Also It's possible it could be a gecko egg.  

  3. What you're seeing is the little capsules of slow-release fertilizer.

    They're the "miracle" that helps your plants grow.

  4. Could be insect eggs. More likely it is fertilizer. If it is soft and you can smash it and guts come out = bug egg. If it is hard = fertilizer.  

  5. It is more than likely a part of your plant soil mixture.  It is in my soil as well.
