There are colored lines running vertically down my computer screen.?

They are very thin and currently don't inhibit my ability to see the screen, but I have 5 of them right now and they are increasing in number. What are they caused by and is there a way to get rid of them?

it once happened to my lap top

but i coudnt use it i wen`t to repaire it

it can also be a virus try scaning ur computer

or the computer might be over heated

if its overheated turn the computer off if its a lap top turn it off and take of the batery under the laptop and wait 10 min then put it back

when u turn on the computer/laptop try pressing f12 continuesly

if it dosent work don`t do anything go repair it.
