There are enough water and food resources in the world for how many people?

There are 6.6 billion people in the world, our food and water resources in the world are meant to be for how many people? or are we ok food and waterwise with the amount of people there are in the world? (which I doubt, if only the Indians and the Chinese wouldnt have kids like rabbits!) Please only answer if you know, this is serious, no guesses.

There is no number for how much food there should be per person, but basically there are just to many people on the earth to equally distribute food in good amounts to everyone. As for water more than 1 billion people don't have water, thats a fifth of the worlds population.
