There are errors with my car title. i bought my car from a pvt party. is there a way to acquire a new one?

The best way, but maybe not easiest, is for both of you to go to the license bureau or dept. of revenue, whatever your state calls it and straighten it out with both of you there, so both are available to sign and do it in one shot.

more than likey you and the other guy will have to work it out if there was a problem then he still owns the car kind of he will have to do the work to get a new one

the previous owner is going to have to get a duplicate (if the errors are on the actual title or on his part ) . you may be able to have a letter of correction stating the errors. It would be alot easier to answer if you were more specific.
