  1. At the very least there will be a bathroom you can change in.

I usually wear my long underwear under some sweat pants and just change next to the car (or in the car) when I get up to the mountain, taking off my sweats and putting on fleece pants and then my snow pants.  It's really not a big deal, everyone does it.

Change in/near your car.  If you're wearing long underwear no one is going to see anything and it's totally normal anyway.

  2. All resorts do have restrooms, not really a locker room and seldom a bench or chair.  It depends on the distance to the resort.  I wear my ski pants from home to the resort and back, about an 1 1/2 hour each way on a daily basis.

  3. There are locker rooms at all ski areas. I recommend getting dressed in the car though because when you go inside to get dressed there are lots of people there. You also might want to rent a locker if you are going to get changed in the resort so no one takes your  clothes.

  4. Most people use one of the following options:

    A) Locals and Guests at nearby hotels usually dress totally and take their boots into the lodge. They usually just leave their street shoes in the ski bag and put it under a table, but some use the small lockers usually found in the lodge.

    B) People who travel an hour or so will sometimes either dress at the car before heading into the lodge (then follow plan A) or they tote in their ski pants and jackets and put them on in the lodge. Many people put their snow pants on right over their jeans or slacks. I usually wear fleece pants to the mountain and put my snow gear on right over that. Usually at the car, but sometimes I'll take my stuff into the lodge.

    C) A few places offer seasonal locker rooms. Locals and season pass holders use these. They tend to just keep all of their stuff at the mountain.

I don't see why one needs to change in the bathroom. The floor is usually wet and most bathrooms do not have ample changing space.

  5. just wear your ski pants to the resort, you wont notice the difference

  6. there are lockers, but to save money, just use your car like a changing room or wear your ski pants to the resort

  7. Actually, many small ski resorts do not have locker rooms.  It depends on what ski area you are going to.  Some offer small lockers near the chalet, but no locker room.  You might have to change in a bathroom, which isn't a big deal.  Otherwise, just wear your snowpants to the resort.
