There are millions of birds on earth yet you seldom see them lieing around dead. Where do they go to die?

Mostly because they're scavenged by other animals when they die. I've seen crows eating roadkill.

They are quickly eaten by other animals, birds, and insects.  Nature has a great way of recycling itself.

they are often eaten by the reason they die. Predators. Also birds feet lock when they perch and often a sick bird will just sit on a perch and pass on therefore they are locked onto it for eternity. I found one in my attic sick as it sounds it was in my christmas tree and it was nearly gone but its feet were still locked around the perch and I had to cut them off to get them off tree. it was heartbreaking it starved to death up there. I did not know it was up there. I couldnt keep the tree after that. So I saw firsthand what happens. :(
