  1. In 2007 concorde closed up their business it was too expensive to maintain.

  2. Concorde was a tour de force, and was never profitable, nor was there any way to make it profitable.

The remaining hulls are on static display, and have had critical structural parts cut internally so that nobody can suggest flying one again.

Sorry.  There will be no more supersonic passenger flights.  They were pretty, but not really practical.

  3. High fuel and maintenance costs made the concorde uneconomical to keep in the air. But other more efficient super Sonic Aircraft are being researched.

  4. Due in part to several reasons, but mainly because of it's ONLY crash on July 25, 2000 killing all aboard. Also economic factors post 9/11. Operations ceased in October 2003.

  5. Concorde was withdrawn from service due to many reasons, the downturn in jet travel after 9/11 is one of them as more people who used to fly on concorde started not to fly so BA and Air france decided to cut costs, however the main one and the most important one which nobody ever seems to mention when this question is aksed is that Airbus industries withdrew technial support and replacement components for hte the type, unless you have spare parts and people to maintain the planes no matter what it is then the authoroties will withdraw ther certificate of airworthiness that any plane requires to be an operational commercial plane.  There are moves to raise enough money to restore one of the examples to airworthiness for the display circuit but im unsure how far thats going

  6. russia is still flying them.
