  1. Ok "no place"?  Hm.  How large is your town?

Here are places to seek out and apply

    - grocery stores for baggers

-restaurant for dishwashers and bus boys

    -newspaper for delivery route

-car sales lots for lot boy

You can also post signs that you are willing to work for x amt of dollars per hr doing -

whatever it is you know how to do...

    like clean garages,

    mow lawns,

    weed or dig gardens,

    help people Move

    rake leaves

    clean houses?

work on nearby farms or stables?

    etc.

You need to go to apply/look for jobs like you WANTED a job - make sure you are neat and clean and look like a normal person - not someone who would be afraid to have you in their house.

Make sure you have the information you need - like references, other work experience and the dates etc.  You might ask for a letter of reference from your minister or a teacher - make copies and attach to your application.

Please make sure your application is neat and readable and you have filled out all the blanks or put n/a - not applicable in any that do not apply.

I hope this helps you.  I admire that you are trying to earn money for your own car!!

One last thing - if you truly can't find job - consider volunteering at the library, hospital, old folks home, police dept  etc to get some experience behind you.  Many times volunteers are offered jobs where they volunteer at.  Just do your best job, be on time and communicate if you are going to be late or absent.  They will remember that when you ask for a reference from them!

Keep up the good work and Good Luck!

  2. If no one is hiring and if you don't have a job, why would you need a car?

  3. You don't say how large your town is but if there are no job openings, you need to find an opportunity.  Talk to some of the business owners and ask what would help them.  Be sure they know you are willing to work hard.

Talk to everyone you respect and have them tell their friends that you want to work.  Remember that you are applying for work, not for a pay check.  It is an important difference in attitude.
