It was very large with big front claws and a tail. It was a light-ish red color. That thing ran really fast when it saw me, TOWARDS ME! I have seen them in the garage and in the kitchen as well as the laundry room. I also have very large spiders. They are larger than golf balls. A brownish color with tan spots. They run very fast as well and nothing kills them. I have sprayed numourous chemicals on them and they keep running. I don't know what to do and I'm scared, I have a large phobia of spiders and now scorpions which I didn't even think were in CA. I live in Northern CA near chico if that helps. My house is very clean and we don't leave our doors open I don't understand how they got here. The people who lived here before us for 15 years never saw any spiders or any scorpions. What HAPPENED AND I'M I SAFE!

  1. sure this stinks up the house temporarily, but just thrown a couple of bug bombs in there and stay out of your house for 6 or 7 hours

  2. They are nocturnal and fossorial, finding shelter during the day in the relative cool of underground holes or undersides of rocks and coming out at night to hunt and feed. Scorpions exhibit photophobic behavior, primarily to evade detection by their predators such as birds, centipedes, lizards, mice, possums, and rats.

All scorpion species possess venom. In general, scorpion venom is described as neurotoxic in nature.

A few scorpion species, mostly in the family Buthidae, can be dangerous to humans. Among the most dangerous are Leiurus quinquestriatus, otherwise ominously known as the deathstalker, which has the most potent venom in the family, and members of the genera Parabuthus, Tityus, Centruroides, and especially Androctonus, which also have powerful venom. The scorpion which is responsible for the most human deaths is Androctonus australis, or the yellow fat-tailed scorpion, of North Africa.

~generally exterminators are killing the crickets, which in turn means the scorpions have nothing to eat

~extermination services will NOT kill black widows. they must be sprayed directly (with any aerosol - even hair spray) because they don't clean themselves and therefore don't eat the poison like every other insect

  3. exterminatorr rrr

  4. move

  5. Have you tried to call a bug exterminator or something? If its hot I think scorpions would be around and maybe try to stay cool if your house is cold. The spiders might have come for the same reason.

Plus its not safe to stay there so you should stay at a hotel that allows pets and stay there for a while then call a bug exterminator.  Don't try to go near them because they are probably poisonous

  6. call exterminators right away, your not safe. There might be holes in the house too. Be careful because they might start living there and you know little spiders and scorpions will live in your house so call the exterminator RIGHT AWAY, and maybe stay somewhere else like your friends house for a few days.

  7. call an exterminator right away my dad almost got killed by a scorpion once.

  8. holes in your house im sure

call ur local exerminator for bugs...

dont move its a waste of money...

if you want you can always check into a hotel that allows pets and live there for a couple of days while the exterminator kills everything...
