I'm from a house in Ohio lives here for about 5 years but this summer about a hundred strange bugs have appeared in nests. They have a strange cocoon on the outside and a caterpillar like worm without the fuzz on the inside. They stick to walls and sometime crawl around. Heres some pics. Look a those pics on my photobucket.

  1. i believe i had these as well for my house bushes had them too, act quick for they will kill ur plant, here is how u get rid of them i believe, i don't remember the exact name but you have to spray them with this spray that clogs the inside thus killing them i believe you might be able to find the spray at home depot.

another alternate is taking them off and throwing them out which I'm not sure if ud wanna do that.

    Hope this helped

  2. definitely bag worms. Several chemical pesticides are labeled for this pest.

  3. they are called bag worms.  Being late in the season you may not get good results spraying for them, they may not be feeding any longer. They will be crawling away from the tree to pupate into the adult. Next spring treat before the young caterpillars get established, use either something systemic or a Bt products for best results.
