  1. Three. It’s not enough simply to DECIDE to jump . . . you’ve actually got to do it!

this is a very old riddle...they were actually just THINKING of jumping but didnt actually do it. Its all in the wording my friend

  2. All They Did Is Jump They Did Not Neccesarily Jump OFF. What Size Where The Frogs Because It Depends On How Big They Were, It Would Be Hard To Fit Three Fully Sized Frogs On ONE Lilly Pad. Well Thats My Make On It .He He.

Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr You Could Take Alittle Cheat And Take It From The Sunday Sun The Riddle Has Been Done Twice.

  3. Depends on the direction the other two jumped!  At least one, but couild be two or three if they only jumped upwards.

Who knows, maybe the force of two of them jumping up and landing again on the lillypad bounced the other one clean off into the water!

  4. See this link:

  5. 1

  6. depends on which way it jumped. if it jumped up than it would land back down. if jump diff way the froce will push the lily pad then they fall down.

  7. Hmmm.  Assuming that the lily pad is a "standard size pond issue", then I would have to say NO frogs left.

    Here comes the science bit:

The 3 frogs were side by side.  That means if 2 frogs (middle and one outer) jumped, then the weight distribution of the last remaining "outer frog" would have been too much, therefore tipping the lily pad off balance and throwing the remaining frog into the water.

That was the easy explanation.  Whatever you do, DON'T ask me for the difficult answer.

  8. 3

What if they just jumped straight up into the air and back down, theres still 3.

  9. 3.

They could have jumped straight up.  Even if they had jumped in a direction other than up, they would have landed in the water or on land, and they can survive in both.

  10. 2 because when the two who went up in the air they came back down and the only one who was on the lily pad was catapulted up in the air and drowned in the water

  11. Well decide ... actually bloody jump ... whatever .... the answer is 2 as their are two left of the third one.

  12. 1 is left

  13. potentially 3,2 or 1

  14. i know this one its a trick question. 3 - left where?

  15. 3.they haven't jumped yet

  16. none if one jumps off they all will jump off

  17. 3-they jumped but not off
