There are tons of ants in my home?

They are not termites, I already examined one. But they are large ants with wings. They are all gathered around one of my air vents in the bathroom. Does anyone know any further information about this and what should I do?

Sounds like carpenter ants. I suggest calling an exterminator. Good luck. I'm battling all kinds of bugs and c**p in my apartment. The management sucks and they won't help me no matter how many times I call or go down to the rental office. They keep saying they'll call me in the morning and send someone and it never happens.
