I'm not suggesting we start world war 3 but come on... how much are we going to let the Russians get away with?

  1. No, it's not okay.  I wish I had THE solution.  Part of me wants us to attack Russia from Alaska and send them the message that their shenanigans are not acceptable.  Let them know what it is like to wake the sleeping giant.  Of course, the smart route for the time being is negotiation.  Russia is acting like a kid testing the boundaries of an adult.  Seeing how much they can get away with.  NATO and EU need to take an alpha male stance and make sure Russia knows that the rules are in place for a reason and their actions are not acceptable.

For those who don't know, there was a news article earlier today stating that Russians had stolen American Humvees that were waiting to be shipped back to the US.  It happened at a port in western Georgia where the Russians (who claim to be withdrawing) took 20 Georgian soldiers prisoner.  It doesn't mention any involvement of US soldiers or personnel.

  2. There are videos of men flapping their arms and flying.

    Don't believe everything you see.

  3. HUh?  What are you talking about?

  4. It's all part of our diabolical secret plan. We leave Humvees for the Russians to steal, and they run the whole country out of gas !

  5. the BBC reported the Russians confiscated them from the U.S. soldiers stationed in Georgia (for training purposes)  No it is not ok and will go onto the list of bad things Russia has been doing, but is not enough in itself to start a war.

  6. Who ever posted that video from Russia if caught well I feel sorry for them. 2018 is a decade away.

  7. Not sure I understand what you mean?  I am in the US driving a Japanese vehicle, I don't think we need to expect military action because of that. We  do not have a trade  embargo on Russia.  If you mean military vehicles, then remember we are still allies with them (though this may change soon) so there  are many ways they could have those vehicles with our permission.
