well, if your house is old enough, you could look it up in your local library, or you could ask neighbors that have been there for a while, or you could maybe even google it. If your house is new, it may not be the 'house' that is the problem with 'strange' things. it could be the land that it is on, maybe it has had some history that is affecting the now... if that is so, you could still see your local library. Librarys have a tendency to keep books about the local area specifically.
