Why bother entering if you aren't going to do it all by yourself?

Have some confidence in your abilities and deal with it. It's not that hard to find your own links and inspiration. You just need to look at things that interest you and incorporate that in with your ideas. If it's bad, then so what? At least you tried and you can say that you worked your hardest without any body's help. Experience and failing will help you become a better artist. Art is the manifestation of your dreams, the world seen through your eyes. It is also a portrait of your imperfections and the mistakes that luckily turned out to be pure genius. If other people provide you with the material, then that will dilute your uniqueness and quality of your work.

Believe me, your drawing will be a much better picture if you just gave it YOUR all.
