There is a baby bunny in my backyard, how do I catch it to release it outside my yard?

How do I catch the bunny, I tried going outside and it ran away really fast.

well since it is probably a wild rabbit it is probably un social therefore you cant catch him by hand. i would get a skunk trap but use it for the bunny. a trap that wont hurt him/her. then but apples and bannas to attrack the rabbit.

Lure it to something where it can go into then try to get it..i had one in my backyard and that worked!

Don't. It got in, it can get out. The mother may reject it if it smells of human.  If it doesn't leave in a few hours, or the mother doesn't show up. You can walk after it, wave a cloth or a broom at it..without contact toward an opening/gate high bottom of fence.  If you can see where it got in that would be a good exit.  If all else fails dig under the fence and try to herd it in that direction.  If you can't get it out of the yard throw a box over it, slip cardboard under it and carry it out of the yard.  But the box can't smell of human. Wear gloves rub them in dirt to cover the human smell in case the box slips and it touches you.  Good luck

why would you want to get rid of a baby bunny that's in your backyard it'll just keep coming back again so there's no point really.
