  1. The best thing for you to do is to keep cat, dogs and children out of that area, so the parent birds dont get spooked.

Keep the area quiet, and just leave the area alone.

You can watch from a distance, but dont get too close, or you might scare momma birdie.

Thats basically just the best things that you can do.

OH, but remember, when the baby birds start to fledge ( leave the nest ) dont touch them. They may look like they have been abandoned, or just fallen out of the nest, but they havent. The parent birds are still watching over them.

    GOOD LUCK!

Oh, and if the parent birds are still "making" the nest, you can leave nest materials out for them to use.

I do that every year. and its really cool to see all your materials in with the birds nests!

    Again, GOOD LUCK!

  2. Perhaps by making sure that they are left alone until they feel adjusted to their "new home."

  3. By letting them be, there's nothing you can do to make them more "comfortable."

  4. Touching the eggs won't make the mother leave them, that's a myth. Although I do not recommend you do it, anyway.

Someone else suggested leaving nesting materials around, that's a good idea.

Other than that, just keep a lookout for predators and shoo them off if they come around. You shouldn't get too involved, just let them do their thing and watch as the babies grow up. :)

  5. first of all. if you find eggs in it, it is very strict that you dont touch them. If you do, you'll get the human sent on nthem, and the mother will never come back.

Helping the bird build the nest is something you can do. Buy an area that is close to the nest, you can put straw, twigs, cloth, and other items that I bird can use to make its nest. Make them easy to find. Then they'll love the nest. And if you dont own a bird bath, make one. Make a stand, then put a big bowl of water on the stand nearr the nest (tree.) Change  the water and clean the bowl every day. The birds should then be clean, and not have gto look for a water souce. When you see the babys born, suply worms on the ground, or some where so the babys have food.

Thats all IO know. And have fun, taking care of the birds.

  6. You can keep your distance from the nest as they would consider you a predator.  Also, if you have a cat, keep it indoors.  If neighbors cats frequently come into your yard, give them a good squirt with a hose to keep them from wanting to come back.  A feeder is good, but make sure it is not anywhere near the nest area as to not draw predators to it.

  7. Leave it alone
