It is connected to the inside of the back pocket. Its teeth are very short and sharp. I was guessing that it was a tool used for the surfboard. I don't know what it is, but I want to know if it is okay to remove it. Or if it will be unpredictably necessary one day. I am not a surfer so I would not know. It is just a pair of swimming shorts to me. I could really use some help because it is driving me crazy! Thanks.

  1. It is a surfboard wax comb, which is used to create ridges in the wax on surfboards making them easier to grip on your feet.  If you don't intend to surf, you really don't need the comb (but you can put it back on if you need to)

  2. Its for you to scrape off the old wax on your surfboard

  3. ya its a tool use 2 take off old wax... on 2 take of fins of ur surf board!
