There is a great new Italian restaurant in my area.?

I would love to promote this restuarant.I have no ties so I'm not paying for advertising.I do know that word of mouth is one of the best ways.Any ideas on where to go to spread the word.We need good restuarants in our area I want to make sure it stays.

you could maybe talk to other resturant owners and they may suggest places to get your word out.

The restaurant owner is just as eager to succeed as you are to see him/her succeed.  You may ask them beyond word of mouth, how you can help him.  Taking business cards or menus to your work place or church or clubs or other gatherings may be one way to get others familiar with it.

Make a point of at least once a week taking different friends with you to the new place.  I live in a small town with this need and frequent turnovers of business.  These are a few of the things I've done to help..but one person can't do it alone.

word of mouth is the best. You can also comment on local blogs, or chat rooms.

Put it in a laudromat, I know I have been standing there looking for something to read,
