The best result is to defuse the issue peacefully. Tell him if he does you will take his head off, give him a slap in the face. And if you cant beat him, crack him in the head with a baseball bat a few times. For a first offence youll probably get probation and maybe a month in jail or something, but no one will **** with you after you get out.

Okay...  Be calm about this.  A quick over reaction could land you in jail.  What you need to do first is determine whether or not this threat is legitimate.  You do want to "go off" on someone based upon "he said, she said" without knowing the facts.  Did your girl tell you this?  Is she the type that likes to see her man battling for her?  Will she visit you while you're doing time?  Who's girl will she be while you're doing time?  Who's girl will you be while you're doing time?

Lot to think about.  Be smart.

Now, if after further review you determine that the threat is legitimate, you need to deal with this fool that threatens women.  Just be smart about it.  Don't roll up on him in front of thirty-six witnesses and beat the dog snot out of him.  That will get you a case real quick.  Defending your girl's honor will not get you off, either.  Make sure you set the stage and know when the best time and place is for you to launch your attack.  And when you attack, let it be without mercy and unrelenting until you are satisfied that the threat is abated and will no longer return.
