new car Ford deal in Texas, I will just give it to you!" How can this be? It certainly can not be true. If it was really true, other dealers would make a deal that they KNEW he could not match and then would have to give a new car to a customer. What is in the 'small print?"

  1. It will be same exact car in stock and you must bring buyers order from other dealer.  Why could he not beat any dealer.  All dealers will do that.  They all pay the same.

  2. They obviously aren't going to give you a car. They'll take a hit on the car before they give it to you. If they buy the car for 10 grand and nobody can go below that, they'll sell it to you for 9,999. That's how it's going to work. They'll take the $1 hit on it.

  3. The small print will say something about "legitimate deals" which will stop you from getting your buddy to write you up a new Ford for $1.

Add to that that "it" isn't defined.  "If I can't beat a

"It" can be anything he wants it to be.
