There is a repetive charge coming out of my checking account monthly - I have know idea what it it for!?

How to stop this fraud?

I called the 800 number they provide

and its not working

Does the charge have a description ? Is it a bank charge or a charge form a third party.  

Rather than call the 800 number why not walk down to your bank a tell them to stop this charge if it's a from a third party, or ask them what the charge is for if from the bank.  

Do it fast as you usually only have 30 days to contest charges on your bank statement

If it is fraud, be ready to contest these charages through a small claims court. How long this process takes is uncertain, so I suggest you get the ball rolling, just in case you need to take action.

This's a serious problem, go to your bank, and ask the person who gave you checks etc. in case, if this's fraud, your future savings, credit record etc. all in danger.

stop calling and walk into the bank ask to see a bank officer. if that person does not help you take your money out and go to another bank.  even if they do satisfy you, open an account in another bank.
