If i'm not mistaken, it's location is on or near the beach. You take an elevator down into a dark, ambient setting. Anyone know the name of it?

  1. I know of one in fullerton, ca.  It is called the cellar, I believe french food, and they are very famous for their wines.  The restaurant is entirely underground.  I know it is not the one that you are looking for in los angeles, but at least if you don't find that one, the cellar has a dark, elegant setting.

  2. huh

  3. There are two in Orange County,  the Cellar as mentioned above and another place in Costa Mesa.  D... but I can't remember the name.  its on the corner of Irvine Av. and 17th St.     Good food and sometimes entertainment in the evenings.  the business used to be used as the cellar for High Times liquor.  Oh yeah,  Its called La Cave.

about 1/2 mile from newport harbor.
