  1. First make sure you don't have anything left inside such as a condom or tampon, you can do this gently with your fingers, these things will cause odours.

If not you need to see the doctor to check for possible infection.

Stop using the lubes from anne summers until you have been checked out.

  2. Vaginal odor has many possible causes.

The most common cause of vaginal odor is bacterial vaginosis, resulting from an overgrowth of organisms normally present in the v****a. The odor — usually a "fishy" smell — may be more obvious after sexual intercourse. Other signs and symptoms of bacterial vaginosis include vaginal itching or irritation, and a grayish-whitish vaginal discharge. Treatment of bacterial vaginosis may include antibiotics.

Another common cause of vaginal odor is poor hygiene. It is a good idea to wash your external genital area during regular baths or showers. Use a very small amount of mild, unscented soap and lots of water. Douching isn't necessary. All healthy vaginas contain some bacteria and other organisms. The normal acidity of the v****a keeps bacteria and yeast in check. But douching can actually upset this delicate balance.

Other less common causes of vaginal odor include:

"Losing" a tampon in your v****a. This occurs when a tampon rises to the upper part of the v****a and lodges there. A forgotten tampon can result in a vaginal infection, which can produce an unpleasant odor.

Rectovaginal fistula. Trauma during childbirth may lead to a rectovaginal fistula — an abnormal opening between the r****m and

v****a. This allows f***s to leak into the v****a, producing a fecal odor.

Cancer of the cervix or v****a.

If vaginal odor persists, consult your doctor.

  3. You might have a yeast infection. Does it itch too?

You say that you wash all the time? How often is that and with what do you wash? Do you wash internally too?

Washing excessively can actually do more damage than not washing enough as you will kill the good flora of your genitals. Just wiping yourself with a wet towel, no soap, once a day is more than enough to keep clean. And you never actually need to clean the inside of the v****a, that place keeps itself clean (as long as you do not have any infection).

  4. Go to your doctor and have it checked- probably nothing but best to make sure.

Have you checked for any leftover tampons ?

  5. First of all, DO NOT DOUCHE!!! When you clean out your v****a, it prevents the natural fluids that clean out your v****a from getting diseases. If it smells, you may have an infection and so you should go see a doctor.

  6. I douche, and that helps me for a few days and helps me feel clean.  I don't think scented lubes will make a difference, they haven't for me.

You can also get a little pocket pack of cottenelle wipes.  Sometimes I would sneak into the bathroom and it makes me feel fresher.

  7. Hmmm...I thought it always smells "wierd" down there. Wierd and bad are different though. If it smells like fish, go see a doctor as you might have an infection.

  8. Maybe you should go to the doctor or nurse hun. Try to hide it with some perfume.
