I get it. And I was about as tired of this as I was of The Vick Saga. The only thing I lay @ his feet was the back waffling over the last 3yrs. Why do you now have animosity towards Farve....or why would you defend him?.......

  1. because he can never make up his mind. i dont hate him, i just find him annoying and that you can never take him seriously anymore. he is like a giant primma donna and he thinks the world revolves around him, that he should get all the attention and be a media w***e. he thinks he is bigger than he really is. now his arm is tired and he is 38...what's he going to whine about next? too many lights in new york?

  2. I was definatly a Brett Favre Fan before this all went down.  But I became extremely dissapointed in the way he handled this whole situation.  He went from being child-like , to childish.  He made a mistake, I think he knows this.  That doesn't mean that people should throw his whole carrier in the garbage.

    Now I root for Aaron!

    Go Pack!

  3. Thats all anybody talks about thats why everyone is tired of it.

  4. I wish Brett just stayed retired.  I think the media forgot all about the other players in the NFL.  Football is not a individual sport it is a team sport.  I am so sick of hearing about BF.  I feel he loves the limelight too much and I think him coming out of retirement will bit him in the a** in the long run.

  5. A few reasons.

First this whole 3 year retirement drama. Why does he feel the need to make such a huge deal out of this? It's not fair to his fans, the team or his teammates, but yet, he does it anyway. What we have is a selfish player.

Which is problem number 2. Selfish players don't help the game. Favre has been treated with kid gloves by just about everyone. Was it the right thing to do to throw touchdowns at 1 or 2 yard line just to pad his numbers?

How about the fact the talking heads who are constantly reminding us how great Favre is and mentioning where his # 1 rankings on all these lists, and don't ever mention he is also #1 in interceptions.

I thought the end of last season was totally appropriate. A drive ended by a stupid, costly Favre interception. How many times have we seen that over the years?

And last, his drinking problem and pain killer addiction. Why isn't more made of that? Guy's a druggie, but does that ever get glossed over. Heck, no one even mentions it anymore.

Face it, Favre has been made into a sports legend when his feet are made entirely of clay. If it weren't for ESPN and Peter King ramming him down our throats, Favre would be what he is, basically a poor man's Dan Marino, a guy who played a long time and threw alot.

A good qb, but not a great one.

What else can you say about a qb who has as many Super bowl rings as Trent Dilfer?

  6. I have no animosity towards Favre now that he finally out of GB !!! I think Brett being in NY will help him get rid of some that ego he had built up. I am sure that NY fans won't be catering to him like GB did. I also hope by pushing for another year he doesn't end up getting badly injured..that would be terrible.

**Trev-Brett did not have to retire..luckily

    for us he is G-O-N-E

  7. I think the big thing for me is that he had such a heart felt goodbye with tears and everything then like a month later already talked about possibly coming back. I don't mind that he is playing for the jets though i just think that there are better stories out there now
