  1. regrading "Ryan"

if you have dynamic ip address, just reboot your computer.

and if you have static ip address, called your system administrator to change your ip address.

    it will solve your problem

  2. You are going to have to change one of the ip addresses to a different address.

  3. Friend, the conflict will not only be with Internet Protocol (IP) address.

There are many settings in network. Check for that.

    IP address

    Subnet mask

    Default gateway

    DNS server

    Alternate gateway.

For the best solution , call your network provider at once. Ask for all these settings. Set it in Internet Protocol version 4.Thats it. You'll have an unlimited network connectivity.

  5. You will have to change the ip address of the machine that says it has the conflict, but you will have to change it to one that you know is not in use.  If you have a small network this should not be a problem.

  6. Hmmm ... if all of your devices are set up with dynamic IP assignment, you should just be able to reboot everything to sort it out. (Turn off the router/modem and all computers.)  Then turn on the modem, then the computers.

If you have static IPs on your computers (less likely), you need to find out which ones are set the same and change one.
