The Catalan sporting director has taken out time to express his views regarding the two top managers, claiming that they share no similarities amongst them.
Andoni Zubizarreta voiced his opinion regarding the war of words that has been prevailing between Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho.
The former goalkeeper opined that he does not find the two men to be having any identical attributes at all, especially when it comes down to addressing the press.
The two top managers in the Spanish La Liga started to hit out at each other through remarks in their press conference recently, and were found embroiled in an exchange of critique.
The controversy sparked after Jose Mourinho hit out at the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gerard-c14664 Pique and the referees.
Pique claimed that the referee in Barcelona’s match against Sporting Gijon showed him a red card due to pre-mediatory issues.
This flared up referees all over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 as they called out for a punishment for the Catalan defender.
Jose Mourinho allegedly made remarks that every manager tries to influence the referees, yet some attempt to get away with it, due to their cunning attitude. Although he did not take any names, his statement targeted Pep Guardiola.
The Catalan trainer spoke in his defence, urging Mourinho to call out his name the next time he has something to say.
He also stated that he did not want to utter anything that would cause shame to his players and his club.
Such exchange between the two men continued and the Blancos’ manager quipped that Guardiola was no different than him, as he acted as blunt as the Portuguese mentor.
Consequently, Zubizarreta has voiced his opinion in contradiction to the views of the Real Madrid head coach.
While talking to Sport, the Spaniard said:
"To be honest, I don't see how Guardiola is similar to Mourinho in this case."
Jose Mourinho, who was accused of having a low character by Pep Guardiola, spoke out once again after Madrid emerged victorious over Real Betis.
He claimed that he is more than aware of his own attributes and expressed that he is outspoken by choice.
