  1. If you're staying on a package deal through Disney then absolutely YES it'd be cheaper, easier, better and more convenient and the food is amazing but do NOT goto the Sci-Fi Dinner Theater...cool to look at but awful food!

  2. We have used the dining package the last 2 times we have gone to WDW. I highly recommend it. It was nice to know my eating budget was fixed for the trip. It was more than enough food for us. Check out the web site below for Disney menus and prices. It also will tell you which restaurants you can use the dining package at- which is almost all.

  3. It really depends on how much you plan on eating throughout the day.

It costs $40 per person per day, so if you think you'll spend more than that, then go for it.

When I was just there I didn't get it and made sure to watch what I ate.  I bought a refillable mug at my hotel's food court on the first day so I wouldn't have to pay for drinks when I was at my hotel.  I ate a big breakfast each day before going to the park, which usually cost me about $6-$7.  I had a small lunch at the park (pizza slice, hamburger, etc) and drank water instead of buying a drink, and ate a big dinner when I got back to the hotel ($6-$8).  In total I probably spent about $25-$30 a day, which ended up saving me money from the dining plan.

  4. Yes! Your on vacation. You don't want to be counting your pennies and planning out everything you eat. The dining plans give you so much freedom and they are so easy to use and you don't need to carry money, just your hotel room card. It was so nice to be able to eat at all the top restaurants and we saved soooo much money! We got an appetizer, main course, and dessert and drink with each meal and it was so delicious! We kept track of how much money we saved, and I forget how much it was, but it was definitely A LOT!

  5. I wouldn't - - you can eat cheaper & more conveniently if you put a little effort into it yourself.

    :o)
