  1. i wake my 8 mo old up at 5:30-6 on weekdays. she gets dropped off at my grandmas and i go to work. I t has been this way since she was 2  months old. i dont see anyhting wrong with it other tahn she is used to waking up early and wakes me up early on the weekends as well!

  2. Thats nothing to worry about. Your baby does not have a job to be too or anything like that!   He can go back to sleep anytime he wants!

  3. my SIL's and my Mom alternate who watches my son during the week...

on going to grammy days my son wakes himself up and we leave about 20minutes after hes up....

on SIL's days its a near 40minute drive so i have to leave earler...  i have to wake him up  ... i try not to but with diaper change and moving into a car seat he normally wakes up...   mostly now hes awake before i even get him off the bed...

so yea its okay to wake them up if you have to go somewhere... they will fall back asleeep on the drive if there that tired....

mine goes to be by 9-930 wakes up at 7:30 every morn on his own (smiling)  and 2 days a week i have to wake him up at 630.. and hes normaly smiling by the time we get to the diaper and laughing when we get to the car seat...

(son is 4mths old, and hes had this schedule since he was 12 weeks old)

  4. I don't think you should feel bad. He is getting enough sleep. And if he is happy, that is good. Plus, it is good he gets to bed early. Take care.

  5. dont feel too bad- i used to have to wake up at 5 pump and get ready for work and get my son up at about 5:50-6:00 am and bring him to my parent's and go to work to be ther at 7

  6. u gotta do what you gotta do... he is getting lots of sleep so dont worry about it

  7. I have always had to wake my children in the morning, even since they were little babies!  Don't worry about it.  You are lucky they are such good sleepers.

  8. It's OK! Especially if he's smiling. It's normal to feel like you're not doing right by your child by changing routine, etc. It's actually good you feel that way.

  9. well from 7 pm to 6 am is 11 hours. that's plenty of sleep really. don't worry so much, babies that age also take naps during the day so I'm sure your baby gets plenty of sleep.

my 2 yr old takes a 2 hr nap in the afternoon (she's asleep right now) and my 11 month old takes 3 naps a day that are around 45 mins a piece.

both of them sleep from about 8:30 pm to 7:30-8am and do fine all day, even if i have to wake them up early.
