Marek Hamsik, head coach of the Turin outfit, has gone on to remark on the point deduction that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 have had and reflected that they can make up ground on others.
The Slovakian international was talking to the press following the loss of form of his club and the points that the Neapolitan outfit were docked following the sentence by the sporting authorities to hold them responsible for “objective responsibility”.
The Partenopei outfit were targeted by the authorities following the allegations against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paolo-Cannavaro-c29080, who were held responsible on accounts of not letting the authorities know of matches being fixed when they were approached by a team
mate at the club.
The duo has been banned for six months from playing in competitive matches and that has come as a real blow for the Vesuviani outfit. On top of their abysmal performances in the Lega, the blow of losing their skipper to the allegations has been tough. Marek
Hamsik was talking to the press and remarked that the points being docked were not going to be held as an excuse as the season was long and they would be able to make up the ground in the future. However, while talking to the press regarding the situation,
he also maintained that Juve are out of sight at the moment and that they will be looking to finish as high as possible.
While commenting on the performances of his team and the points deduction, he was quoted to have said:
“But nothing has changed for us and the season is still long. The Champions League zone is close and our objective is to finish as high as possible in the standings. We’re just concentrating on football matters,” he added. “We no longer have two points,
it is as if we drew a game that we in fact won. Let’s put this situation to one side and move on.”
The Vesuviani outfit are currently fifth in standings having dropped from being joint third in the table and are also ten points adrift of the champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926, the Turin outfit, Juventus.
