There is this green bean dish I had in Spain several years ago and I wanna know what its called?

I think it had olive oil and some spices. It was like a salad of some sort. at this point I am not even sure if it was green beans. it was so long ago! help!

  1. I think it was fava beans with olive oil, it's delicious!


  2. The closest classic Spanish dish that meets that description is from the Basque region. (It would be helpful to know which region or style of restaurant, but I realize this was long ago. Funny how we remember tastes! )  Here are 2 versions of the Basque green bean dish, followed by an Americanized recipe of same.
