There this girl that i've known since college?

I've known her for almost four years,had the hots for her but it never really went anywhere but she showed interest, basically the thing is a year and a half ago I moved out of state for a job, i talked with her about a month later then again recently a year later out of the blue she calls and asks how everything is going and if i'm visiting anytime soon and it happens that i am and she wants to get together,ok so here is the problem right now there is someone else that i'm interested in i really like her and we get along great, so i'm not sure i wanna see my friend from college because i'm afraid it might stir up old feelings and i can't avoid going down there because there are other friends i'm going to visit, any idea on how to handle this?

When you go to visit your old love interest bring along some of the other friends you came down to visit in the first place so it makes things less "intimate" if you really don't trust yourself in the one-on-one situation.  Otherwise, casually let her know right away that you have a girlfriend during your catching-up part of your conversation.

This is the perfect time to put some closure on that part of your life.

You go back and meet up with the old flame and actually say goodbye (If in deed that is what you feel) Keep moving on.

i think you should to tell to your college friend that your seeing someone and you need to visit that girl too,tell her that shes not your priority now.just be honest with your friend and do whatever it takes just to remain your friendship.
