There was a movie or tv show where the girl wanted into the house or apartment and found a candle and note

it said something and then she found another candle and a note, it said something, then there was one more candle and a note. they were from her bf or husband i cant remember, but it was really romantic. i want to ask my gf to marry me like this but i dont really know how i would do it. any ideas what show or movie that is from or how i could ask her like that?

it sounds like a very cute and romantic way to ask the question =).. you could put rose petals around too..

maybe in each note write a reason why your love her.. and then in the last one write, because i want you to be my wife or something like that???

It sounds like you have asked and answered your own question.  I think that is a very romantic way to propose.

Are you just looking for something to write on the notes???  Try a romantic poem, written a little at a time over several little notes.  And give a clue as to where she would find the next note.

Maybe something like this..

And though I have kissed her

A thousand times a day

I would want to make it millions

And continuous without delay(go to the kitchen)---on the first note

But she can only smile

Because each kiss is of the heart

And she knows that the kiss is endless

It was this way from the start(look in the garage)--- on the next note

But in each little touch

The lips desire more

But what else would they desire

When each is unlike before(Check the basement)---- on the next note....ECT

until you have finished the poem, then you could be waiting for her at the end and propose at that time.
