Question:

There were larvae in my rabbit's eyes?

The larvae punched a hole through the rabbit's eyelid and got in.

How do I prevent this from happening again? To any other animals, anyhow.

  1. um is it dead

  2. so was the rabbit alive when this happened?

I guess if the bunnies live outside you can treat them monthly with feline advantage, otherwise, inside there would be less chance of insects laying eggs on them.

If the rabbit was already dead, this will happen eventually?

I'm truly sorry, but there's not quite enough detail here.

    Best of luck

  3. Seriously? How awful.

Speak to your vet, that is the number one most important thing to do.

You don't give enough detail about how this happened for me to be sure, so speak to an expert I think.
