There were raccoons in my pond!?

Question

A couple of nights ago at around midnight I found two raccoons in the shallow end of my Koi pond. I chased them away a couple times and they came back. I think they went away soI went to bed. I even took pictures! They were just wading around, will they come back? None of my fish seem to be missing, but their are a lot of little baby fish in my pond about a couple of inches long. But the real question is, were they diving down and hunting for fish? or just wading around getting a drink?

yes, they where having a fish feast, you could try live traping them and take them out in the country to let loose but if cornered they can be pretty mean. Or call a pest control place and have them trap them... Good luck!

They are trying to catch your fish.  Since they have found your little oasis of food the only way you can keep them out is by blocking it off some how.  However, they are pretty good at climbing fences...  Do you have a dog perhaps?  They are a pretty good deterrent sometimes.
