They were the sliced regular sized tomatoes, not the cherry ones.

  1. OK well it all depends on the place, i was a supervise at a Wendy's and we were good for having a clean place. i can't tell you if you have salmonella but i can tell you What to look for in a clean restaurant.

    look for-

    the floors are the moped.

the workers are the wearing gloves and hair nets.

    the windows are clean.

    tables wiped down.

If these four things are good chances are the the food is good.

  2. If they haven't pulled the tomatoes then they don't serve the kind that have been linked to salmonella. Actually a lot of places don't serve the kind that have actually been linked, but they are pulling them just to be safe.

  3. Florida and Calif. growers were cleared. Their tomatoes are safe to eat.

  4. I don't think you should and i have had Wendy's many times and there were tomatoes on my burger and i ate it fine with my fries and frosty delish:) but seriously don't worry yourself do you think about everytime you open your cereral box about what bacteria hides in it. it's good your take 2nd thoughts about what you eat but don't sweat all the time.

  5. ONLY IF THEY WERE RED ROMA OR RED PLUM TOMATOES. THOSE ARE THE TYPE CAUSING THE OUTBREAK.

  6. Yes! I ate at Baja Fresh and their tomatoes owned me. I will NOT touch another tomatoe until they've verified that all are safe. Don't take the chance.

  7. I would assume that Wendy's follows guide lines. I work at a restaurant and when we cute meat and veggies we have separate knives and cutting boards for the meat and veggies so that cross contamination doesn't occur.
