Theres a dog that lives next door that is annoying, How can I stop it.?

There is a dog that lives next door that keeps barking because it is tied into a tree. It cries, barks all day and its driving me nuts. I dont think my neighbors should even keep this dog.

first try to talk to your neighbors about the barking, they may not even know its a problem for you. if that doesn't work send a formal letter to them outlining the problem and what you would like to occur to resolve the problem. lastly call animal control and complain. I put the animal control last as these are the people you live next to and you probally don't want a hatfield/mccoy situation at home. You might also try some dogbones to keep pup busy. thats what I do with my noisy dogs.

does the dog have water? he is in the sun? if so i would call animal control. a dog shouldn't be tied up to a tree like that. call them and have them handle it that way you dont get in the middle of your neighbor to me it sounds like the dog is mis treated and they shouldnt have him

you should call animal control if you think the dog is being neglected, or call the police to file a noise complaint. i think calling ac is a good idea just to be sure . our neighbors did the same thing and someone called ac and the dog was taken away because it was left tied out 24/7 with no contact other than being thrown food out the door and it barked constantly and was aggressive.

why don't you call animal control/police? that would be the right thing to do for the poor dog.

If the dog is being neglected then you should call animal control. But, it can't just be you who is being annoyed by the dog. It may bother you but it might not bother other people. If it is just you, then it really isn't a bother then. See if your other neighbors are annoyed by the dog, then call animal control. Good Luck!

Call 311 or animal police and let them know that these people are doing this. Its NOT good for the dog, or your ears. Or try talking to your neighbors if you think they will understand.

It's the peoples fault not the dogs, so try speaking with the neighbors before getting the dog sent to the pound.
