Theres a line threw my tv.

Question

theres a white line that runs across my screen.when the tv worms up the white line muves up and down untill it gets to the middle of the screen,and then all you see is a black screen w/ a white line.the only salution i could find is to hit the tv on the side.this works breifly but the problum dosnt go away.can u help?
