  1. Swap desk with your favourite colegue

  2. PETA sez don't hurt them

  3. i doubt if anyone is bringing them in, they are living in the walls, under the floors, living on plaster and sandwich crumbs.

they are disgusting disease carrying little things, and you have every right to refuse to work if the management do not get rid of them immediately!

  4. gross, you should tell someone.

  5. tell your boss or talk to your health and safety rep or call the health board this day and age you don't need to work in those conditions

  6. politely go and talk to your boss and tell him/her about the roach problem. and i doubt people are taking roaches to work. maybe the roaches just..are there already.hope this helps!

  7. Shake out your purse/jacket before leaving work, and again once you're outside before you get into your car. Then, ask the management if you can put some roach killer down. If they wont pay for it, bring some in and spray your area yourself.

  8. Horrible. Cockroaches breed fast. Don't stand on them or squash them. This will release the eggs and allow more to hatch - you may also then take them home on your sheos. You have an absolute right (in Europe at least) to refuse to work in such an environment. If you take them home in your belongings or cloths, you will never get rid of them. They will live off the tiniest bit of food - even crumbs and will eat almost anything. Cockroaches in themselves are not dirty, the environment that they thrive in is - they are ecologically there to clear up filth. Have your boss inform the pest control department to get rid of them. If your boss refuses, you can report it yourself.
