I would first of all find out if the girl is not just his cousin he is showing around town. My ex girlfriend thought the girl she saw me with was my new date never thought to even ask who she was before screaming and shouting at me in front of her. She looked rather silly when all around in the bar had asked me "who is this?"  I wonder why she thought it was such a crime when she was starting the onslaught my cousin was chatting really deeply to another girl?
