Question:

Thermometer and humidity gage :)?

well i need some new thermometers for my lil baby turtle i need one i can put in the water and one i can put on the cage wall to check the humidity in there any help with that i would be greatful :)

  1. I use temp guns. They are way better than any thermometer and much more accurate. Plus I don't have to have ugly thermometers stuck in all of my cages. You point them at something and push the button and it tells you the temp down to the tenth of a degree. You can point them at the water, the basking spot, the turtle, or anything else you want to know the temperature of. I think they are one of the best tools anyone with reptiles could own.     And also, if you're turtle is an aquatic turtle, you really don't need to measure the humidity. The water will keep the humidty rather high. The turtle will bask to warm up and dry off. Hygrometers are what are used to measure humidity, by the way.


  2. get a water thermomter. and a basic thermoter, humity gadge pack from a pet store will do. fluckers are some b/a ones. i like them alot.
