Whatever you'd like to call them.. :P

I've eliminated every other disposable item (paper plates, plastic forks, spoons, bowls, etc...) except water bottles and paper towels

i dont know what im gonna do with the paper towel deal, but i know i can replace the throw away water bottles with a good ol thermos waterbottle thingy.

Sooo my question is...what, in your opinion, is the best thermos / sturdy water bottle you've owned?

I'm looking for one that doesn't give off a plasticy or aluminumy taste, and preferrably one that keeps water cold / hot for a long time

Thanks!

  1. A glass lined thermos maintains temperature better than anything.  A stainless steel one does a very good job without the risk of breaking like glass can.

  2. I use a stainless steel one it keeps my hot chocolate hot when I go ice fishing even at temps of -25oC and keeps my ice tea cold in the summer, the dangers of a glass lined thermos is that if you drop it or it gets bounced around you can shatter the inner glass insulating piece(I've done it a few times that's why I went to the stainless steel one),as for the paper towel us a cloth napkin and wash it in the laundry that's what we use

  3. A good quality Thermos or Nissan brand insulated bottle is glass lined, no odd taste that I've noticed. Available at any Walmart, Target, hardware store, etc.
