Thermostat where is it.?

Question

where might I find the thermostat on a 98 chevy cavalier 2.2lt. Is there such a web site that will show you this stuff with out charing.(diagrams of motors etc.)

Follow your upper radiator hose, it is intbetween the hose and the engine, very simple

Look for where the top water hose enters the radiator - follow it back to the engine block - you're thermostat is probably right there.

follow the top radiator hose towards the engine and it should be right there on the intake under a thermostat housing. take 2 bolts out and there it is.

The thermostat is located in the lower radiator hose on the 2.2L engine.

Try to avoid buying a cheap, no-name brand. Ideal is my favorite. Worth an extra dollar or two.
