These are my classes for tenth grade?

Question

Hey I have never done terrible in school but I have always goofed off and not taken it serious. I am done with that ever since I was born I have loved Notre Dame and that is my dream to get accepted there. I have always had something going on in my life like not being able to eat and not having electricity. So I don't want to be poor when I grow up because I have lived that and hate it. Its hard going to school and seeing all these rich people ahving all this stuff and I cannot even eat lunch because I don't have lunch money. So if I get all a's and work hard for my next three years could I possibly get accepted to Notre Dame.

I'm not sure what the question here is, but I'm going to be a Junior so I took similar classes last year. Anyway:

I took English Honors as well, there was a lot of writing and analyzing literature involved. We would have to read about 2 books at a time, one independently and one that the whole class followed together. Just be prepared to write a lot and be tested on your comprehension of the books you're reading. It was a big step from 9th grade English.

Spanish is like my favorite subject either but people begin to hate it with the tenses and stuff ... Flash cards help more than anything and there are a million help sites to learn Spanish if you just Google for them, but don't use them for cheating! Languages are easy to mess up, so using a translator and etc. doesn't work all the time.

I took Geometry in 9th grade and it wasn't too hard. A lot of drawing and sketching and stuff, and making measurements, and a bit of algebra. Nothing too scary here.

We don't take US Gov until senior year & it's an AP class, but from what I understand it's a lot of read & review and so on. Not much different from your standard civics class I guess?

Earth & science is one of my favorite classes .. Just lots of studying and memorizing, learning some vocabulary and so on. This is another one of those subjects you can also just google things for if you need help, but I feel like a textbook is always used in this course, so it's not too hard.
