These at home jobs, doing data entry?

How genuine are they? As soon as I scroll down to the last page and see the old credit card information, I shudder. Can you trust these companies not too rip you off once they have your numbers?

Most of them are scam.. they ask for upfront payment and guarantee that you'll cover it in days.. but then they disappear..

elance and guru are good option you can try to explore others as well.

If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate. You might want to take a look at http://www.Mumworkathome.com if you are interested to find some of the legitimate online jobs.

Count on any posting to your question that has a link being a scam.  Anything that asks you to send money is a guaranteed scam.

Click on the profiles and you will find that most of the people have signed on to Yahoo Answers today or maybe yesterday and posted the identical spam to numerous questions.

I report numerous violations like this and most of them disappear quickly because others report them too. Four that I reported before posting this answer are already gone.

I know exactly what you mean.  I'm very reluctant to actually pay to work. I wish I had some good advice for you because I know that you will receive several comments with a link that will eventually take you to a page to input your credit card info. Just check everything out, look into the Better Business bureau before paying. Even google the company, if it's bad somebody will be blogging about it.  Good luck in your search!
