  1. Don't want college, eh?

The best job you can find with a high school diploma would be some demanding physical-labor job.  Go to Alaska and become a crab fisherman, for example.  Wait, doesn't pay much; try to become a semi driver, and then see if you can get on hazardous duty in Iraq; that pays 120K a month.  Oil rig workers make good dollars too.

    There's always the military--

  2. I know that there are many possibilities in the medical field.

Check out this page for a "career assessment":

This article on high paying jobs (2 years in college):

You have to go and do your own research. You can volunteer at a hospital or job shadow just about anywhere. I've done both and they've made a great difference in the career I want to go into.

This is also an awesome website: http://www.bls.gov/oco

They have a lot of careers listed there are descriptions on:

    - Nature of the Work

    - Training, Other Qualifications, and Advancement

    - Employment

    - Job Outlook

    - Projections Data

    - Earnings

    - Related Occupations

    - Sources of Additional Information

  3. honestly, don't do it for the money because if you end up going into something for the money and then 2 years into it you absolutely hate it there goes 4 years of college down the drain and you can't really get out of it, medical, engineering and some kind of finance degree are really hot though right now especially finance considering the us economy right now, people are getting tight with their money and so is the government so they are hiring like crazy people who can manage tight money budgets

  4. Work at Quiznos, Subway, McDonald's, Burger King, ETC...

    Those are starter jobs...

When you get into college maybe start a level 1 proffesional job.

  5. After high school? Maritime industry (vessel agent) no college degree needed, and can make some great money...the job changes everyday, so it's challenging, but in a good way...
