1.) Can you make a vivid description of Champs Elysees (what you can find along its vicinity, full of raucous, you know, etcetera etcetera, the more the merrier)

2.) Please describe the flats and apartments (if there's any) near Champs Elysees.

3.) What is the most romantic place in Paris? (aside from the Eiffel Tower)

It's all for a novel. I have to research to make accurate descriptions right? Nonetheless, I have never been ther before...

  1. Hi, get a photo guide of Paris with a lot of photos and ilustrations, get maps, history books on Paris with many illustrations also get a book of Paris secrets etc. If everyone only wrote about what they knew there would not be any fiction and much less science fiction and pricelles writers like Jules Verne, E Salgari, or H.G Welles, St Luke or other many famous writers would not have been able to write at all since they usually wrote about other times and other places they did not know. The basic stuff so it works is to do good research, and if you are going to write about Paris , you must also visit it as part of the research, it aint so expensive, and as I believe Henry the IV of france and iii of navarra said "Paris is well worth a mass"...meaning that Paris is worth the effort, which in his case got him the throne.Enrique IV of France and III of Navarra (Pau, 1 april 1553 - París, 14 may 1610), King of France between 1589 and 1610, first of the Borbon Dinasty Borbón in france, now they are a spanish Dinasty, was as well King of Navarra (spain) betweeen 1572 and 1610, AKA Henry the Great or Henri le Grand or Le bon roi Henri got the Popes endorsement and hence the crown of France just by assisting to a mass ofices at Paris.

  2. Like I told the last person who posted the same question about London (and later deleted it).

    WRITE WHAT YOU KNOW!!

You can't write about a place you've never been. It will be apparent to everyone who HAS been there that you don't know what you're talking about. No matter how much people tell you about a place, you will never be able to capture it without staying there yourself.

    Consider visiting Paris.
