Alittle bit ago, I started having these very unusual dreams that really have been taking an effect on my life. Every dream seems more and more realistic. I can't wake up without knowing what's fiction and reality. I'll dream of being awake, living my normal life. I'll dream of going to sleep, and waking up, all in my dream! I'll dream of different dimensions, and it has been scaring me to a far extent. Please, I need an answer to why I am having these dreams, and if anyone else has had them too. I really just need some explanations because I feel that I'm on the verge of going crazy.

  1. thoughts are more powerful than swords." (old proverb) there are 2 solutions to your question:

    1) basically, that quote is affecting you. in your real life, you keep remembering your dreams and using their lessons, whether they are good or bad. you are simply remembering the dreams.

    2) if you are having the dream and know you are in it, then you have entered a lucid dream. basically, you can conciously make anything happen in a lucid dream, just by thinking it. if your dreams are lucid, then you are doing the exact opposite as the first solution. you are dreaming something and applying it from your life. lucid dreams are trapdoors, and go in, but not out. so this means you are constantly thinking of your dreams.

it doesn't matter which solution above is right, you are simply having memerable dreams. and that's alright. in fact, you should be more worried if you don't have dreams. these are normal.

  2. You are troubled by something in your life. Each dream is working on a way to redo what is troubling you. Playing out new scenarios of how things should go. Until you have worked out what is bothering you, you will continue to have these dreams.

  3. Honestly, all my dreams are like that so I thought it was natural. One way you can tell if your dreaming or not is if you eat something in the dream and you can't taste it.

  4. Try putting some nail biters polish on your nails. You cant TASTE in a dream so every time you 'wake up' l**k your nail,if it tastes bad then your awake.

  5. I know exactly what you're going through. You're not alone, because I used to have those dreams too. Getting rid of these dreams take a lot of time, but here are my suggestions:

First of all, you say that you dream of real life. That most likely means that your life is too simple, so spice it up a bit. Do something that you've always wanted to do, or go hang out with friends more. Do something that's gonna make you happy.

And second: If you can't tell real life from dreams(and this might feel kinda akward), try calling or hanging with a friend or two right before you get to sleep. And while talking or hanging, bring up subjects that have to do with real life. Current events that take your interest. But mostly, talk about thigns that YOU think could NOT happen in a dream.

And if these dreams keep happening talk with a very close friend or family member. I hope you get better soon, best of luck.
